The Austerlitz railway station is on the banks of the Seine River, close to the “Jardin des Plantes” and the Natural History Museum A historical building dating back to 1867, the Gare d’Austerlitz is characterized by its vast metallic structure and 281m long hall. Even though this station was renovated and changed over the years, the original building is registered as a protected historical monument. The Austerlitz railway station welcomes passengers travelling to the south, east and central parts of France, as well as night trains going south.
