Under normal traffic conditions, a Charles de Gaulle airport taxi ride to the downtown area of Paris takes approximately 50 minutes. Central Paris is around 34 km from the airport. All that’s left for you to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the journey into the city center of Paris.
Taking a train from Charles de Gaulle Airport is a fast and relatively inexpensive transfer option. The RER B train departs from the airport every 10 to 20 minutes and takes around 50 minutes to reach the city center. A one-way train ticket from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris costs €10 for adults, €6 for children, and children under 4 travel for free. The main train station at Charles de Gaulle Airport is located near Terminal 3, in the Roissypole building. While there is a train station in Terminal 2, trains from this station do not run directly to the city center. If you arrive at Terminal 1 or 2, it is recommended to walk or take an airport shuttle to Terminal 3 to catch the train. If you arrive at Terminal 3, simply follow the signs from the arrivals gate to reach the train platform.
